Please join us this Saturday for the Second Annual Between The Bluff's Plein Air Painting Exhibition which showcases works created during this year's plein air competition.  All works were created on location and feature local landscapes/subjects in all media.  We have over 50 local/regional and student artists participating!  New this year is the addition of a student show hosted at Grand River Station Gallery located at 315 S. Third Street in downtown La Crosse, WI.  Please note that BOTH galleries will be open for the reception simultaneously, 6pm to 9pm, so visit both and have twice the fun!

The main awards presentation will take place at Studio Gallery 1311 at 7:30pm.   The student awards will be presented at Grand River Station Gallery at 8pm.

We hope you'll join us for what is sure to be a great evening.   Works created during this year's event featuring local area subjects/landscapes will be on display and available for sale.   Limited refreshments will be served.  Artists will be present to talk about their work and answer questions.

This event is organized by the La Crosse Arts Initiative.  A portion of the proceeds from the sale of artworks goes to benefit the La Crosse Arts Initiative and their future projects supporting and building the visual arts in our community.

This year's exhibition will run from 9/27 to 10/18 at both gallery locations.  If you can't make the opening be sure to stop in while the show is still up.  It's a great chance to see work by our local artists!

Come on out and show your support for the La Crosse Arts Initiative and the visual arts in our community.  We look forward to seeing you again!

A big thanks to this year's major sponsors, Designing Jewelers, J Galleries Interior Design Studio and the Mark and Sue Halter Trust.   Your generous support helped make this event  possible.
